Target Boycott

Humanizing the boycott:

“While I firmly believe that a business climate conducive to growth is critical to our future, I realize our decision affected many of you in a way I did not anticipate, and for that I am genuinely sorry.”
- Target CEO Gregg Steinhafel

But Steinhafel didn’t say he was genuinely sorry for Target actually have made the donation. He’s sorry the decision affected people. He’s sorry people know about the donation. It’s hard to really walk something like this back after it’s been done. Target has lost my business for a long time to come.
