It’s been almost a week since I’ve posted anything.

I went to Charlotte on Wednesday as part of initiating the process to get on another transplant list. It’s too depressing to write about.

There’s a Sarah-Palin-admiring Costco employee who’s caused me to question whether I will shop at Costco again. That’s too depressing to write about.

The Duke men’s basketball team is playing for the national championship tomorrow night. That’s exciting. But I’ve never been one to have anything intelligent to say about basketball; I’m not going to start now.

Each pet is on a different couch. I think the cats prefer the old couch and loveseat. I don’t know if I can part with the old furniture.

But Herman, as I reported last week, likes the new couch quite a lot.
