I think all 2300 participants they polled must've come from 5 small towns in rural South Carolina and Georgia. I took an upper division class in Statistical Analysis when I was in college (loved it!) and I remember learning about how to set up the questions in a poll so that they wouldn't create bias and/or be a leading question. It's definitely hard to do a poll correctly.

It's sad to think that some people will automatically judge me and put me into a political category just because I am a God-fearing and God-loving Christian that has *some* conservative values...for the record, I am an independent, voted for Obama and I'm happy he is our president. Some members in my church may gasp at that if they knew, but I don't care. But those that would gasp at that, if I were to ask them if they thought Obama was the anti-Christ, I don't think ANY of them would say yes.

I don't believe I know any Republicans who have the views expressed in this poll. My assumption would be they are outside of this poll unless they tell me otherwise.

The wording of the question is a little suspect..."maybe the Antichrist" plays on people's anger and may be a higher value than "probably is the Antichrist" would be. But, still the references to Hitler and socialism are disturbing.

I'd need some evidence about problems with this 2300-participant Harris Poll to write it off.

that poll is total garbage, I'm telling ya! Seriously, 25% of Republicans cannot think that for real. That poll is made up. Okay, if it's not made up, then I feel very sorry for those people who honestly believe that.
Just please don't lump me in with these strange/weird people in this poll, k? :)
