That’s not an elegant entry title, but it’s most likely to result in hits when people google ‘dish network sucks’.
DISH Network has absolutely abysmal customer service. I highly recommend against anyone every choosing DISH Network as their television programming provider.
I’ll summarize my problem with them. Back in 2004, a DISH Network installation was initiated by a previous occupant of my house. DISH Network has this installation somewhere in their records, regardless of who actually installed the equipment. In December 2006, I began renting this house, despite the grossly absurd sight of an eight-foot pole jutting out from the front of the roof, with the dish mounted on top. As a renter, this eyesore was something I could live with, if my landlord didn’t seem to mind. Since the dish was there already, I used it. When a technician came out for the installation, he said that he presumed there was nowhere else where the dish would have line-of-sight, where the signal would not have interference from the trees.
In June 2007, I began the process to purchase this house. I had a home inspection done. The method used to mount the dish was causing moisture damage to the roof. The home inspector recommended that the dish be removed from the roof as soon as possible.
I lined up a service call to have the dish moved, but I was stunned that DISH Network was going to charge me $99 for the visit. Wasn’t it their installation incompetence that necessitated the dish being moved? I was told I had had only three months get a free service call if I wasn’t satisfied. It was now six months later. I reiterated that their equipment and an installation that they did have a record of was the cause of this damage to the house. The support agent suggested I could file a damage claim, but she then backtracked when she found that the “statute of limitations” had expired. I argued that I was going to have to take the DISH down one way or another, and that if I was going to do it myself, I certainly would not be a DISH Network subscriber any longer. It was a royal pain and a half-hour of my time, but I managed to get a credit of $49.50 for the $99 service call.
As soon as the technician came out a few days later, he was almost certain I simply couldn’t use a DISH Network dish. Utilizing just a 34-degree angle to grab the satellite feed, a DISH system often cannot be installed where there are a lot of tall trees. The technician said that neither he nor anyone else he knew would ever have installed the dish jutting out of the roof as mine did; it wouldn’t be permissible. There was nowhere else the dish could go. And he didn’t even want to be responsible for further roof damage by removing the dish for me.
He let me watch him write out his report. He wrote clearly that I had no line of sight and should be let out of my contract. He also said that there should be NO CHARGE for this visit because he could not perform any work. He told me to wait until the following Monday to cancel my service, as his notes would have been in the computer system by then.
Just prior to the technician’s arrival, I had a chat session with DISH agent who confirmed that I ought to be paying just $29 for the service call because I had been under the DISH Home Protection Plan (DHPP). Once again, for the googlesphere, DHPP is supposed to provide you with $29 service calls. It doesn’t. DISH Network’s DISH Home Protection Plan is a load of crap.
Take anything that anyone affiliated with DISH Network tells you with a grain of salt. Don’t just “get it in writing”. Don’t get it at all. So what if you get it in writing? Are you really going to sue DISH Network after you have to cancel your account because they say you owe them $19 even though they really owe you $31? Is it work risking a mark on your credit report because you decided to fight for that $50? I say, don’t ever go with DISH Network in the first place.
They are first-rate liars. And I don’t live in Great Britain, so I’m pretty sure my claim will hold up in court, just in case DISH Network ever reads this and accuses me of slander.
So, if you didn’t realize it yet, I’m writing this because I have found that I am still being charged $49.50 for a service call that should have either been completely free or $29 at most. I spent 20 minutes arguing with a DISH Network underling who had no power to make the situation right, and in the mean time, my poor dog got rid of some diarrhea on the floor, because I just kept telling him to hold on another minute or so.
I’ll paste here a transcript of my chat with “Raynold A”. I was frustrated from the start, because I had already spent so much time dealing with DISH Network personnel. (I skipped over my 25-minute chat with “Lyndee” (F6N), who had tried in vain to keep me from breaking my contract, which I was perfectly entitled to break given the lack of a suitable installation location for the equipment. Apparently, the technician’s notes never made it back to the DISH Network computer system).
So, yeah, DISH Network sucks. Avoid DISH Network. DISH Network will screw you. What else is a good googlable phrase? You get the point…
You have been connected to (04)Raynold A.
(04)Raynold A: Thank you for choosing Dish Network Chat Support, How may I assist you today?
Me: I had to cancel my DISH back on 7/2. I should have only been charged $29 for 6-30 service call, but then I should have been charged $0 because the 6-30 service call resulted in no work being perfomed, because the dish could not be installed in viable location
Me: I have a $19.21 final bill, but I should actually have a credit
Me: 6-30 chat session prior to service call verified that service call should only be $29 due to my DHPP
(04)Raynold A: I am sorry for the inconvenience.
(04)Raynold A: Please give me two minutes.
Me: and technician verified that there should be no charge because he could not perform any work
(04)Raynold A: I see there is a charge for installation as on 06-30-2007.
Me: yes, nothing was installed, and i don’t understand why no one at DISH seems to receive the technician’s notes that say that nothing was installed
(04)Raynold A: I am sorry, you would need to call 1-800-333-3474 to get the information.
Me: no, this is utterly unacceptable
Me: i will not be on hold for another 30 minutes waiting for your staff
Me: have a supervisor call me right now and take care of this
Me: i have been screwed over by dish for long enough
(04)Raynold A: I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Me: no, i don’t think so
(04)Raynold A: I see that this is a valid charge which cannot be taken off.
Me: seriously, get me a supervisor immediately or else i will share this entire mess with the better business bureau and anyone else i can think of
Me: no….i was under the protection plan, so all service calls should have been $29
Me: simple as that
Me: go back to your supervisor and check
Me: raynold, this is complete nonsense and you know it
Me: the service call should be $29
Me: and it should really be nothing because nothing was done and the technician documented this. do you not have access to records of the technician’s visit?
Me: or are you just stonewalling me because you are not allowed to credit me any money?
Me: I have put up with enough
Me: you can erase a line from my account, i realize
Me: 6-25 Installation – Adjustment
Me: You have the power to give Adjustments.
Me: Look, my dog is about to relieve himself on my carpet. I have to go in three minutes. Fix this matter now.
(04)Raynold A: I am sorry, there is already a credit given for services call.
Me: not the proper credit
(04)Raynold A: I wish I could give you the credits.
Me: the purpose of the dish home protection plan (DHPP) is to provide service calls at $29
Me: I had that plan
Me: My service call should have been $29
Me: what is the problem?
(04)Raynold A: You where already informed about the charges.
Me: I was informed INCORRECTLY
Me: YOU GUYS ERRED
Me: YOU GUYS MADE THE MISTAKE
Me: YOU ARE BLAMING ME?
(04)Raynold A: I am sorry if you fell that way..
Me: It is not a feeling
Me: You are blaming me for an incorrect charge by your company
Me: Simple as that
Me: You are arguing that you can’t correct the charge because the charge was already made
(04)Raynold A: I am sorry if you feel that way!
Me: Goodbye. Look for this chat on Google in a few days.

Direct TV is much better. The only problem we have had in 4 years is a dead TIVO. They brought a new out quite promptly.
Just today I went through the same thing canceling my dish. They are truely liars and cheats.
Please read the following do you treat all of your customers like this I have found many complaints on the net And I have my own complaint see below this first complaint.
Dish Network Sucks Ass
Posted by bbrown at 7/17/2003 7:05 AM and is filed under Personal
Okay, I’m nearing the finale of my months-long struggle to end my relationship with Dish Network. I just got off the phone with an assistant to the executive vice president (possibly my third or fourth call to this individual) and he says that one of his nitwit colleagues credited my account for the returned DishPVR but forgot to refund the money. Apparently, Dish Network’s customer service system is so stupid that it can credit a long-closed account without triggering a refund and their people don’t know about this oversight.
If you’ve got Dish Network, enjoy it and don’t ever try to cancel. They’ll make you jump through every hoop they’ve got—you’d think there was a subsidiary of EchoStar that made them. This saga started on April 30, 2003 and still is not resolved.
*** My compliant is that we had a appointment I waited and waited and no phone call from disk to let me know that the tech did not even show up to work finaly we called disk and they wanted to reschedule I said I took off work this weekend to bee here for the installer the lady said there would be someone here on sunday between noon and five pm no one showed up no one called to let us know the tech would not be here another wasted day of waiting now I am out of $400.00 in pay who is going to reverse me for lost wages. WHO,,****
I lost my signal last night (Monday) but there were storms in our area so I just assumed that it was related. I got up this morning and still no signal. I reset the box & did a check switch on the system, still no signal. I called the customer support line (is there anyone there that actually speaks english?) & told them that I had already performed all of the stupid tests they would try to have me do. He said I would need a service call & there would be a charge of $29. Isn’t it there equipment that I rent? When something of mine breaks, I don’t try to get someone else to pay for it. So that aside, they say the next available service call is on Friday afternoon. I have no choice but to take it, I hang up and leave for work. I walk outside and the problem becomes obvious, the bracket that holds the LNB’s on the end of the dish arm is broken (I don’t know how it happened I was in bed when it went out). So I call the customer support line back to see if a technician can just come out and fix it today as it’s a simple fix. This guy is the biggest ass I have ever talked to. He says “NO, your appointment is on Friday, and I can’t get you anything any sooner”. So I tell him “ok, well I’ll just duct tape it back togeather untill Friday when it can be fixed properly”. He tells me there will be a charge for tampering with it. I would love to know what kind of crackheads they have making these stupid policies over there. I ought to just wheel out my welder and fix it my self just to get rid of them. I understand that they are cheaper than cable, but man it’s starting to look pretty darn good right now.
One epilogue to the story…
DISH has continued to call me for the past month from phone number 866-668-8047. They have never left a message.
Yesterday, I finally answered. When a man began explaining that he was from DISH, I cut him off and told him to make sure DISH never called me again. I can only guess they were attempting to get me back as a customer, because they have continued to mail me offers to return–with free months of STARZ, as if that would get me back.
Any intelligent system would know that I left DISH because there was no suitable place for the outdoor hardware, and furthermore, that I had lodged a complaint with the BBB to get my money back. What kind of sound business would be so idiotically persistent as to continue to try to get my business back? DISH Network, of course.
I wish I had known how awful Dish was before I signed up. My main problem is the lack of decent customer service. They are all rude and most barely speak decent English. I switched to Dish for the $19.99 offer and the free IPod. Well I opted to go with the HD package instead. It was supposed to be $34.99/mo. My first bill was actually $103.72, supposedly for 2 months and I’d get a rebate later for only 10 months of my 18 month contract. I realized right away that HD was not all that special so I called them 17 days later to tell them I wanted a regular box. They said I called 2 days too late and had to pay a downgrade fee. I was told by the techs that I had 30 days to make changes. Well then, I scheduled the techs to come and switch out the boxes and they never showed up. Called again and told the man about all of the issues I have in only 3 weeks of service. He promised me 3 mo. of HBO, Showtime, and Starz after I got the new equipment. I called to add the free premiums and was told that man had no authorization to give me that deal. I even gave his operator # and was told they could track him down regardless of knowing his name and operator #. Then a few months later I received a $300 charge for supposedly not returning the equipment. I called and got the same runaround you always get with this company. I finally got that settled and removed from my bill after a lot of yelling and figuring out the idiot techs didn’t show that they came and picked the receiver up themselves. I was also initially denied the free IPod because I sent them a personal check instead of a cerified check, so I was told the whole deal was cancelled. I told them that was one of the only reasons I signed up for Dish. I know, I’m an idiot. Well I had to call this 3rd party several times before I finally got the IPod shuffle 10 months after I signed up. Recently, I was getting phone calls day after day from Dish and they were not leaving any messages. I was finally home to answer one of the call and was offered Starz for $9.01/mo. I said sure, I’ll take it. Well I checked 15 minutes after ending the phone call and realized I didn’t have the channels. I called and was told that I could only have it at that price if I added Showtime for $12.99. I said no I only want it if it would cost me $9.01. I said don’t add it! Now I get a bill with 2 charges for Starz. One is $11.69 for a partial month charge, the other is for $12.99 as a full month. I called and told them I did not ask to have Starz added. I was told according to their records I requested it. I said, then according to your records, it should also state that I only wanted if it were $9.01. After more yelling and arguing, I finally had those charges removed. I can’t wait til this contract expires because this is ridiculous. Dish has the worst customer service I have EVER encountered!
Wow, the ignorance of the creator of this article is just AMAZING! I sat here and read your WHOLE damn article in disbelief at how CLUELESS you are about DISH NETWORK policies, I thought maybe smart customers would READ UP on things to better educate themselves before they start looking like an ASS. the internet is (obviously) a resource that you are comfortable with so why dont you actually LOOK UP things BEFORE you blame a MULTI-million dollar company of SCAMMING you. Get your damn facts straight.Im not even an employee, I just know the facts of my TV provider, let me break it down for you.
1st EVERY customer NO MATTER if they HAVE the DIsh HOme Protection PLan (DHPP) or NOT, is charged $99.00 for AN EXISTING CUSTOMER INSTALL. thats EXACTLY what you were NEEDING and WAS SET UP FOR BY THE AGENT. YOU did NOT need a SERVICE CALL. those are two VERY different things. a service call is for when a cable gets broken or your dish gets knocked out of alignment or something is causing signal loss, like the switch box.–THATS A SERVICE CALL. for DHPP customers, THATS $29.00.
ANY time you need the DISH MOVED, or RE-WIRED or CABLES RAN THROUGH TO ANOTHER ROOM or all the CABLES REPLACED, THAT is an EXISTING CUSTOMER INSTALL. and it cost $99.00 for EVERYBODY. get over it-damn. look it up on the website.
and also, as far as the people that say:
“Well its not MY equipment, why should i have to pay for it to get fixed, even when I didnt DO it?”
THAT my friends is called customer reliability- WHEN YOU SIGN UP with ANY satellite OR cable provider(directTV,COmcast,DIsh, etc), you are signing that you take PARTIAL RESPONSIBILITY for ALL equipment being LEASED to you. THOSE RECIEVERS in your house are anywhere from $500-$700 peices of technology, and dish is trusting YOU to take care of them, for MUCH less than what they COULD charge,AND YES- sometimes they DO malfunction- they are electronic devices-sometimes you get a lemon. Dish didnt get to be such a big company by SCAMMING people, IM sorry that YOU are one of the 2% of the world that had a bad experience. The way DISH works,If something wears out or breaks outside, DISH covers the COST of ALL EQUIPMENT that may need to be replaced(switch box, cabling, etc), the only charge going to YOU, is the charge to PAY the TECHNICIAN who comes out to your HOUSE and performs the WORK. Wouldnt YOU want to get paid for any LABOR that you do?
AND ALSO FOLKS, dont be pulled in by a RETAILER offer, like “get a free iPod” or whatever- those retailers ARE NOT DISH AFFILIATES, and are not HIRED by DISH. THEY actually PAY DISH to LEASE AND INSTALL their equipment in hopes of getting MORE business for their store. RETAILERS often have their OWN set of promotional offers set to pull customers in, and the RETAILER promotions and offers are almost NEVER the same as DISH NETWORK promotions. DONT EVER call DISH NETWORK directly expecting them to KNOW what “free ipod” promotion it is you are talking about.
IF you are INTERESTED in DISH NETWORK or ANY TV provider- NEVER GO TO A RETAILER OR SIGN UP FROM A FLYER IN THE PAPER. Go to the providers website like dishnetwork.com or call them DIRECTLY. you’ll get alot less trouble doing it that way. and ALSO- know your business facts and read the paper contract before you sign it before you go writing things like this on the internet claiming a “business scam”–it makes YOU look STUPID.
SO to conclude- you being charged $99.00 for the Dish to be moved was in fact a CORRECT business transaction. That agent that set that up for you was DOING THEIR JOB correctly. NOW -I understand that the technician WAS UNABLE to complete the task, so YES. you recieving a credit was ALSO correct- not giving you the FULL $99.00 back, well the tech that came out there had to get paid for coming!? ALSO as far as the DAMAGE that you claim the DISH on your roof caused, THAT because it was probably there for SEVERAL years (from the looks of your picture) and you and I both know that ANYTIME you have a FIXTURE on your house for SEVERAL years, its not going to be as fresh and pretty as it was the day of the install.Learn your facts, know what you are being charged for BEFORE you hang up the phone, and dont CHAT with an agent online, you cant hear their tone of voice or sincerity- STOP BEING LAZY AND JUST DIAL THE PHONE NUMBER- if requesting a supervisor, its alot more VALID if you can actually hear their VOICE instead of HOPING that the agent on the chat ACTUALLY goes and gets their supervisor. COME on, you set yourself up THERE.
Also, about you people bitching about “the employees hardly speak english” oooooh, you must have been linked to one of the call centers in the Phillipeans or India.Stop being ignorant and just call back until you get someone in America if it bothers you that much.I know there is a call center in Houston that is very helpful. Get over the fact that Dish Network is an equal opportunity Employer.
@Stephanie – Wow, you sure are a whore for DISH. Why did you just waste 20 minutes of your life to make those comments? Are you one of their resellers? Or are you just on a personal crusade to fight the lies and distortions?! You’re so defensive in your rant (what’s with ALL THE CAPS) that I can’t imagine you’ve swayed anyone into thinking DISH is anything but a shitty company to work with. Nice try, though. – Toastie, the ASS who originated this post
Stephanie,
First of all, you say “LOOK UP things BEFORE you blame a MULTI-million dollar company”. That is the intent of this Website, wouldn’t you say?
My major problem with DISH is the lousy customer service. You are spoken to by people who communicate as you do. Rude and condescending. We are here sharing the problems we have had in regards to this company in order to help people make a decision one way or another. I had cable for years and never had an operator speak to me as rudely as the DISH people do.
And if you are not affiliated with DISH, then why have you not only spent the time to write all of your insults, but taken the time to read the “WHOLE damn article”? Doesn’t make sense.
Anyway, I guess this discussion is not meant for you, so BYE BYE.
@ MIchele and TOASTIE.
I understand that my approach to replying was a bit harsh, but what you have to understand is that posting things like this online about ANY company, can get you into lots of trouble if you dont kow the facts. I was simply just stating the facts to better educate the situation, me being a woman of business, I dont want anyone to read this article and think that all of these things are true. There was some validity in a small part of what you said, however your experience is not what 98% of the companies customers experience. YES michele, researching does include looking up things about a company but you cant consider THIS site as research because it is based on only a few personal opinions.real research is done when visiting an official website about a company,to make sure you get all the facts. YOU all, being aggressive towards me for simply stating the facts is just another sign of ignorance, instead you should read what I wrote and instead of being offended, learn from it and hopefully in the future it will help you resolve any problems that you might have with a company in the future.
Sure, your ignorance continues to amuse me. Im not a reseller or anything of the sort, I just am one of the few intelligent people who make sure I know what Im talking about before I go accusing anyone of a scam. The time I took to reply wasnt a waste, and I wasnt trying to be defensive, I just like to put a little emphasis on the message Im trying to get across, hopefully in the future people who read your article and my response will look more into things before creating accusations. The world and all its people is not out to get you, I promise.
You sound so much like those bitches that work at DISH, you must be one of them. How do you know what you are talking about when YOU weren’t there to experience what we have gone through unless you were on the other line giving us the damn runaround? For you to do that much research on DISH charges is absolute b.s. You work for them and are just here to defend what you do. Is this the training they put you through or are you just that proud of your work that you waste your time defending it here?
I totally agree with what steph is saying….i dont want to compare this to buying a car or even a home…but i believe before you commit yourself to anything wether its a rental or a lease what have you that anyone should do a little bit of research!!!!! DAMNIT AND I DONT GIVE A FUCK!!!!! I WORK AT DISH…ITS OKAY…BUT UMMM….WHAT STEPH SAID IS RIGHT…AND THAT JUST ABOUT COVERS IT…LOL…SO UMM……YEAH READ YOUR SHIT BITCHES!!! BUT SERIOUSLY..DO IT….OH AND IM NOT A WHORE FOR DISH I JUST HAVE BILLS TO PAY… :)
I’m also canceling Dish . Website not working for online payment .. So I Called Rep. Said he will waive the phone

I said this is bull shit you guys screwed up my dam check # I did this probation shit last time and im not doing it again ..I not My screw up ……. He said sorry sir . There is nothing we could do but i can refund you bad check feee. urrrrrrrr…….
I had had it with this company . I have no problem with the quality of picture or equimpent and the hd programing>>>> BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST TO DEAL WITH .BY FAR IM DONE SCOTT@GCRAIG.COM
I had a very bad experience of trying to cancel dish after only having it for a day. It never worked and installation was a nightmare. They wanted to charge me almost a $300.00 cancellation fee. FOR WHAT!!! Anyway after hours on the phone with them I finally got a hold of Nathan from the exec office (720-514-7387) and he was able to cancel my service and wave the cancellation fee.
I agree dishnetworks does suck! We signed up soley for Voom HD and when they canceled so did we! They never asked anyone about our opinions, they continue to lie about being the leader in HD, lie about needing the space which is bogus when sattelite guys track the airwaves and have proof that dish was tranmitting all voom hd while transimitting all of their current new HD channels so another lie! Their customer service is the worst on the planet. Voom HD was the best content and dish definately sucks for dropping Voom HD!
I’ve had Dish Network for several years. I’ve never had any problems with Dish Network well except for losing the signal every time it rained or stormed. I just recently moved and upgrade my equipment to HD. I love the HD programming that they offer and their new HD box with the whole pause/record live tv. I think their customer service is great, sure not everyone I get speaks English but anymore what company does! I used to have Comcast and their customer service was horrible. The upgrade charges were expensive and they wanted to charge for every little thing. I’m glad I went to Dish Network. It’s a shame ya’ll haven’t had the same experience as me because you’d see what a great company it is.
We had Dish up in rural NC, and when we moved and mailed back the boxes, they tried to charge me something like $125 for not returning some piece that was attached to the back of the actual dish up on the roof – which they never instructed me to remove and return. I didn’t care that the CSR wasn’t in the US – I chewed him out just the same and explained I now lived 80 miles away and, had they explained before I moved away with my 30′ ladders, I gladly would have returned his stupid little piece of electrowizardry, but that if they wanted it, they knew where it was, and to remove the charge from my bill immediately (because they were going to autodraft it from my bank account). I don’t know if they ever got it, but they didn’t charge me.
Hilarious! If you think these things don’t happen with other companies you are blissfully ignorant
It’s hilarious how this is the most popular post I’ve ever written, and the more people who comment, the further up the “dish network sucks” search results it goes. I don’t write about all the companies out there that suck. Actually “companies that suck” is pretty far down there on the list of things I write about. But Dish Network especially annoyed me because, well, I had a friggin six-foot pool sticking out of my roof when I moved into my house, and they didn’t seem to care that one of their approved contractors thought that was a good idea. I had such a lousy time with them that if just one person saw this thread and decided they’d try someone else before they’d try Dish, it was worth a little blogging.
It really has to be noted that Billllllll is either a loyal customer or employee of Dish Network. Normally, I wouldn’t find it appropriate to divulge this, but he just made a point of saying, “Yeah, well everyone else sucks, too, so this is stupid that you’re picking on us!”
This isn’t a personal crusade of mine. I don’t really care a whole lot. I really do have nothing better to do with my time than continuing to harp on a silly incident that happened 18 months ago with an incompetent company, Dish Network, which, by the way, sucks.
Well said, Stephanie. Bravo.
I’ve seen the Dish Network claim form (what any customer has to sign) and it is very similar to DirectTV’s. A straight forward and standard claim form telling you what is covered and what you’re responsible for as well as potential surcharges. I used to work in a call center for DirectTV and the worst part of the job is people calling in pissed off at me because they didn’t know what they were signing up for. Everything is outlined in specific detail in the paper work you sign when you have your installation; learn your lesson and read before you sign or better still, research the product you wish to purchase.
Dish is offal. I signed up for one price and then raised my bill the next month. The will continually raise your bill….and the catch is that they will also charge you a $99 + $120 discontinuing fee if you do not want to accept the increased prices. Dish WILL make you bend over so if you are not interested in that then move along!
i agree dish sucks , and i am going to take them to court
for what they did to me , the ding me twice on debit card aso after i called them to tell to put the money back in m
my account they said it would take 3 weeks so i put a stop payment on one of the transactions, mind you they
were paid but because i did that they turn off my satellite and wanted me to pay them in 2 again are they
nuts , so i am going to take them to court for damages
please save yourselfs dont go with they dish
e
so to all who hates dish! Ive worked for both comany’s (dish/direct) and they both have the same problems with csr. Yes the whole thing with the pole on the roof is so far retarted that if i was the tech that went out there after the initial install i would have taken it down. But i gaurantee the dude that put that up there was a sub-contractor. Those guys dont give a hoot about what the install looks like. They get paid per job, so its a blow and go deal. The whole thing with call centers yes they use over seas call centers and believe it or not when i was a tech i had to talk to them as well. but as someone said about the contracts, yes you should always read a contract (fine print) before you sign. they get some desk puchers too sit down and come up with contracts. I’ve read the contracts from both parties and they both have in clear writting what they are capable of. but like i said your gonna get what you got from dish anywhere else gaurantee.
I have Direct TV and I can tell you that when it comes to sucking and being unethical Direct TV beats Dish. Both suck and cable also sucks. Welcome to corporate Amerika folks.

DISH NETWORK SUCKS!!! I was looking to change from Direct TV to Dish. I was just on the phone with them to find info on pricing, as their website does not have all the details of the pricing included. First, I was transferred to India where “Jeff” did nothing but get my phone number, address and personal info (why they would need this to give a quote is unnecessary. Obviously they are just adding me to a mailing list). Then I was transferred to an American who wanted all the info again. He refused to help me without me giving him all the information again. He was rude as hell and actually said (and I quote) “If you want Dish, you have to give me all the information I want”. I didn’t necessarily want Dish… I wanted a quote, but after dealing with their Customer Service, Dish can fuck themselves. Corporate will be getting a letter from me. On to Comcast…
