Rolling in Amazon associate dough

CD Soundtrack to 1987 Shelley Long megahit Hello Again!I hadn’t checked my Amazon affiliate earnings in quite awhile. I suppose I should post a link to Amazon.com via my affiliate here in case anyone should ever want to buy anything from Amazon and go through me. Over the past couple of years, the only Amazon associate links I’ve put out there have been text links along with the list of songs recently played on Toastie Radio. I never got much of anything from these links long ago, so I figured I still wasn’t getting much.

And I was, unfortunately, right. Over the past two years, I’ve made fifty-six cents off of my Toastie Radio Amazon affiliate links. back on 9/28/06, someone bought the Sinead O’Connor album “Collaborations” (not a source of Toastie Radio music). On 11/25/06, someone bought William Goldstein’s memorable score to the 1987 Shelley Long blockbuster, “Hello Again” (the 348,407th most popular item in Amazon’s music department alone), and on 11/26/06, someone bought another one! (I’ve never heard this soundtrack; maybe it’s good).

The new now-playing widget that I’m about to add to the revamped website will accentuate the link to buy the music from Amazon, but I doubt that will help much. Fortunately, the Google ads have worked somewhat better as a source of revenue.
