I’m delighted to see a Bush nominee go down. I’m nervous that this nominee was brought down by conservatives because they worried Miers wasn’t conservative enough (and also that she didn’t know squat about constituional law). The pro-life wing wants to be sure a nominee will overturn Roe v. Wade.
It will be more of a delight of Rove and Libby go down today.

I must say I was touched the other day by Bush’s tender words in remembrance of “Rosa Park”. I think he thought the wildfires in California had burned down a playground.
