TR has been slumping for months. Usually there are only two or three listeners at night. Somehow, in the past half hour, a flood of listeners have begun to tune in. There have been 20-27 listeners for twenty minutes now. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s as if someone is advertising TR somewhere. Must DJ live for now to try to keep listeners…

So many thoughts, all incindiary, so I’ll obstain. I’ll just say I’m glad to see this piece of news.
Six Feet Under is a remarkable show. I just watched the last three episodes of season 3. I haven’t been up at 2:30 in the morning in quite awhile. The cats are being angelic at the moment…
I’m watching ABC’s commercial-free two-hour tribute to Peter Jennings, and it’s a remarkable show to have put together in just a couple of days. He was an extraordinary man. I’m in awe. I’m wishing I had spent more time watching him instead of Brokaw over the years. What a sad death.
I loved Dallas. Barbara Bel Geddes (Miss Ellie) has passed away at 82. I never realized how close in age to Larry Hagman (who played her son J.R.) to her; he’s 73. Anyway, hers and Peter Jennings’s passings remind me of my childhood glued to television, and I’m saddened by both (and that I spent my childhood glued to the television).

Just signed up for a 20/30something meetup group. I’m sure my social life is about to explode!
I’m only on the Season 3 DVDs, and there are news stories out there trumpeting a major spoiler that is happening at the end of Season 5 right now on Six Feet Under. Oh, well, I suppose I’d be more pissed if I actually had HBO now and were caught up and didn’t know the spoiler. Being two seasons behind, I expect to find out what happens ahead of time.
