I GOT THE JOB!

The Kelly recruiter called me just a few minutes ago. The hiring manager at Duke needs someone asap, and he wants to meet with me in person, and the recruiter isn’t going to send any other resumes over! I’m hoping to meet him on Friday, but, hell, I’ll meet him tomorrow or whenever. I am now headed towards a high that will be so tough to come down from should this fall through.

I cannot stress this enough, how I believe EVERYTHING could MIRACULOUSLY fall into place were I to get this job.

Without all the facts, I shall pass judgement and consider the breeders of this unfortunate creature to be guilty of screwing around with genetics for profit. The world doesn’t need miniature cats, which is what these people are breeding. There are enough breeds of cats. Not enough people to adopt the fine cats being euthanized. I know there’s another side to this argument (pure-breds vs. mixed breeds), but this story just pisses me off.
