kitties!!!! they’re sweet monsters.
They’re so sweet, I just want to gobble them up! But I don’t, of course.
Part the first: an LJ friend of mine is writing a review of a novella that’s in the latest Analog magazine; she said she’s ambivalent about the story itself but absolutely loves this line from it — A fat, orange-and-white cat–a color Dennis would have called “punkin” during his Kentucky youth–dozed on the window ledge like a melting tub of butter.
Part the second: another LJ friend is being a foster home for a mama cat and her three kittens. See kittens here. Warning — link may induce cuteness overload. ;)
