Tonight I experienced what it might be like to be part of a sane family, and it had me longing for normalcy and stability in my life. Jenn’s brothers John and Dave and their wives Michelle and Cindy are all about our age (mine and Jenn and Jason’s), and, for sure, Jason will be part of the Lanuti family in the near future (sometime in 2006, I suspect). Throw in some in-laws, including the one colorful senior and a Jack Russell terrier (Deacon), and you’ve got a great Christmas Eve…and for good measure, throw in the one random friend (me).
Desperate needs for the coming year (well, for my life in general)…a stable job, stable finances, stable health, and, for Christ’s sake (it’s Christmas, after all…and what does “for Christ’s sake” mean anyway? Christ’s sake, that makes no sense), perhaps a serious long-term relationship?
What I do have going for me…friends who care about me, family who (yes, I admit) care about me, two sweet cats who absolutely adore me, and some speck of a belief, lost in the wind most of the time, that I can be so much more than what I am.
Open entry tonight, because I desire to commune with the world, or something like that…

May all your wishes be granted :) Merry Christmas Toastie, and maybe we can meet up sometime in the new year!
Merry Christmas, Toastie. *s* I hope that all of your Christmas wishes come true. Just remember however, if they don’t, you’ve still got friends and family who love you, and two beautiful cats to curl up with at night. *s* And also a loyal fan base of secretaries all across the midwest. ^_~ And me.
*hugs*
Merry Christmas Toastie, remember you will always have your cats and your friends and brothers.
Here’s hoping all your Christmas wishes come true!
Thanks, William, and best of luck on achieving your 2005 goals! I’m always driving past Greenwood. Granted, I’m always in a rush to get past Greenwood, but perhaps I could stop sometime.
:) Thanks :)
Thanks. :) Merry Christmas!
Thanks, Laura! I don’t really have “Christmas” wishes. I reference the holiday because it seems to insert itself into my life each year whether I would like it to or not. Merriness to you and yours! :)
