I finally was going to have a decent, comfortable night of sleep. I had fallen asleep before midnight. But then loud, violent sounds awoke me from the adjacent room. My neighbor has been watching an action movie with the volume way louder than it need be at 1AM. I tried for 25 minutes to ignore this, but it persisted. I called the guy’s room. The phone hung up. I called the front desk. The phone hung up. I march down to the front desk. There’s a cop there, the front desk guy is disheveled, and they’re talking about a robbery that just occurred. I retreat back to my room; La Quinta’s got bigger problems than a guest watching TV too loudly. But now my sleep has been ruined. I don’t know when I’ll get back asleep.
Wow — talk about a rude awakening! I hope you were able to get some sleep after all.
I have been told that I have a different neighbor tonight, or else I would’ve suggested a different room. Good Night Sleep at La Quinta, Take Two… :)
I had the same problems last night, because someone was pounding n my door at midnight! Today I got a peep hole for my door and the phone numbers of all my neighbors who can keep an eye out for me.
I am so not getting sleep tonight. :(
