I am not bored overall at work, as I do have plenty of work to do and actually find some of it interesting and challenging. (Now how about that?) But I do need frequent breaks (like every 5 minutes or so…yes, I know, I have a terrible work ethic, or at least I cannot concentrate on what I’m doing for more than 5 minutes without getting agitated), and I keep going to LJ, but no one has posted anything. So, humor me, give me one sentence.
Good news, we DO have AC here at work; someone is turning it on now.
Most annoying sound today: the bee that’s trapped between my window and blinds here at work. I’m scared of flying, stinging things (not allergic, just irrationally scared), so it’s quite a distraction.
Most annoyning smell: burnt coffee. We went out to lunch for Secretar^H^H^H^H^H^ Administrative Professionals Day today and when we came back discovered that the coffee had spilled a little onto the thingy that keeps it warm, thus the burnt coffee smell.
So the two Bs: bee, and burnt coffee.
Whatever’s on the Russian radio station right now – it’s as if someone mixed turkish-pop with russian folk songs, and then tossed the soundtrack to Galaga or one of those nintendo games in the background.
No annoying smells to report, though – just that sort of warm springy earth and dampness with a hint of some early flowering tree down the street.
