And it’s only 83 degrees. I sweat too easily. Perhaps I sweat too easily because I’m too heavy. One reason I don’t like physical activity is because I don’t like to sweat so much. But if I’m going to stop being too heavy, I’ll need to sweat. I walked to get my lunch, just a few blocks to the horrible Rainbow Chinese buffet on Main Street. I’ll never do that (eat there) again. It would be nice to walk a few blocks to lunch everyday, but I’ll really hate it once the summer is upon us.

Same here! I hate sweating, and I probably sweat more now that I weigh more than I should, and doing things to help me weigh less are going to make me sweat (ick). It’s one reason I like swimming–in the water, I can’t tell I’m sweating. ;)
But seriously–I’m with you.
I bought my friends’ treadmill a month ago, and so I really shouldn’t mind sweating in the privacy of my own home. I think my main excuse for not using it as much as I should…actually I don’t know. I even tell myself that I don’t need to do 30 minutes straight, I can do 5-10 minutes at a time. Anyway, congrats again on doing the 5K. :D
Yeah, I’m with you there. It sucks, cause I hate cold weather, but I hate sweating. I like the 75 degrees and breezy thing, but we hardly got any of that this year. Stupid Durham.
That’s my main reason for avoiding exercise, too. I hate sweating. What you have to do is find something that’s fun, but is exercise, so you maybe won’t mind the sweat. Ultimate frisbee and DDR are the two I can trick myself with.
When I picked my friend up from the airport Sunday, I said, “Can you believe it, it’s 88 degrees!” He responded, “I know, it’s awesome!” NOOOO! It’s not. We have had no springtime. 75 and breezy. San Diego weather. I like having seasons, so I wouldn’t like San Diego, but I’d at least like half a season of San Diego.
EVERYONE is into DDR. I have seen it twice, I think, once in a Dukie’s dorm room and once at an arcade. I guess I can do that in the privacy of my own home, too, although I did spend $400 on the treadmill. (I would’ve never bought a treadmill if it weren’t my friends who were selling theirs. I shall not admit it was a mistake!)

Free computer version of DDR. definitely not worth buying the real one. This way all you have to buy is the pads and a ps2 — > USB converter. Marcos has downloaded approximately a million songs, so we could burn those onto a CD for you and you wouldn’t even have to download them.
Thanks. :) As the week progresses and the annoyance of sweating fades, we’ll probably do it again this Saturday.
